Labor Day Oldies - and Goodies

Buddha heads, 3000 year old chards of glass from the sands of Israel, cowboy boots, gum ball machines, century old rocking chairs . . . you name it, chances are one of this weekend’s two antique markets probably has it.

While the Castle Rock fire has kept two of the four antique markets away from the Wood River Valley, you can still manage to shop-till-you drop.

Bill Summers has joined Alee Meister’s antique show at Roberta McKercher Park in Hailey. The show will be open Friday, August 31st through Sunday August 2nd. In addition, the Main Street Antique Market will run Friday through Sunday on Main Street in Hailey.

So, swing down to Hailey for a breath of fresh air and to scope the unique antiquities.
