Tasty Thursdays: Java

Baby, it’s cold, wet and ugly outside. Lucky for you, Java on Fourth gives a little comfort and warmth with its famous Bowl of Soul. This concoction of espresso, coffee and Mexican hot chocolate is sure to keep you warm and sweeten you up, which, face it, will make everyone around you happier.

Here is what you will need:
Espresso
Regular coffee
Mexican hot chocolate (we recommend Ibarra)
Whipped cream
Cinnamon

For a medium/grande bowl of soul, make two shots of espresso. Pour the two shots in a cappuccino bowl. Then, fill the bowl half way with regular coffee. Fill the other half with Mexican hot chocolate. Top it off with a dollop or more of whipped cream. Sprinkle some cinnamon and chocolate on top, light a fire, and kick up your feet.

If you can’t find Mexican hot chocolate or you’re simply lazy, roll over to Java on Fourth in Ketchum and get your own handmade bowl of soul. It’s open every day of the week from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
