Unusual Bulb and Peony Sale

Calling all green thumbs: it’s time again for the Sawtooth Botanical Garden’s Annual Unusual Bulb and Peony sale. October 6th and 7th, you can purchase an array of unusual bulbs and peonies that aren’t typically available for sale in the Valley, but tend to thrive well in our climate. With bulbs names like monkey flower and sticky geranium, there are bound to be some exotic and beautiful finds.

Kicking off the Unusual Bulb and Peony Sale is a presentation by renowned bulb grower, Brent Heath of the nationally recognized Brent and Becky’s Bulbs of Gloucester, VA. Gail Severn Gallery hosts a reception and talk by Heath at 7pm on Friday, October 6th. He will also be doing a presentation at the garden on Saturday.

In addition to the unusual bulbs and peonies, there will be a selection of gorgeous, native perennials for sale. With snow on the ground and spring feeling light years away, the Unusual Bulb and Peony sale is a great chance to forget about snow showers and think spring flowers.
