Ski season is slowly coming to an end. And, with fewer events, this weekend if the perfect time to relax, regroup and hit the slopes. For a complete schedule of events, check our calendar.
Thursday
If you haven’t made it there already, stop by the Elephant’s Perch on your way home from work for the 2008 Bicycle Preview Day. See the latest designs and accessories and get pumped for summer.
Friday
All winter long, we’ve laughed and laughed and laughed some more thanks to Sun Valley’s Winter Comedy Series. This weekend, the season comes to an end with a final show featuring Tish Sur and Leif Skyving. So head to the Boiler Room, grab a drink and get ready to laugh until you cry. Doors open 5:30pm.
Saturday
If you didn’t brave the elements and choose to compete in the Holding Cup, you can still show your support by watching the events on Bald Mountain. Or, get on the mountain yourself for one of the last Saturdays of the ski season. Stop by Warm Springs Lodge for a little R&R. Sip on a beer and listen to music by the Doo Wah Riders. For more music, head to Papa Hemi’s Hideway for local band, Four Stroke Bus at 6:30pm.
Sunday
Start the morning off right either by hitting the slopes as early a possible or with a leisurely brunch at Cristina’s. Enjoy Belgian waffles, mimosas and a fabulous assortment of eggs. (Though the bread alone is so good you almost don’t need to order anything else.) Then treat yourself to a matinee at Magic Lantern. We recommend 21, based on the best-selling book, Bringing Down the House. You’ll almost wish you were in Vegas. Almost.
This Week on Channel 13
As ski season comes to end, so does Plum's signature show, MorningNoon&Night.
With just three weeks left, we have a lot of fabulous guests to fit into the show. This Saturday learn about spring ski deals from John Evans and hear about the Soldier Mountain Allstars Cheerleading Group. On Sunday, we have Mary Fauth from Girls on the Run as well as Joy Kasputys who will discuss upcoming plans for Warm Springs Ranch. As always get your daily weather from Fresh Tracks starting at 8am on Friday and 7:30am on Saturday and Sunday.
