Wild horse enthusiast and photographer, Elissa Kline, drops by the MNN to discuss these magnificent animals, how they survive in the wild, and her encounters with them.
Elissa is to be hugely commended for her work, not only as a photographer, but as a gentle activist for the preservation of these beautiful wild horses. Her photographs are stunning, and we hope her book of them will be published soon. Hopefully, the BLM will pay heed to the plight of these animals and prevent the decimation of their herds. There must be a sponsor somewhere out there for a show of her photos in Washington, D.C.
Oh Elissa....what wonderful exposure for YOU and the HORSES! This obssesion can only help this herd and many others survive.
I hope to see the exhibit in Grants Pass this summer.

Elissa,
So wonderful to see your photos and hear the interview. Some of those horses have been out there a long long time. A few look familiar. I'll never forget one day up in that country alone, being treed by a stallion with mares and foals. So wonderful to see some are still out there. Beautiful photos. Wish I could see them in person.
